WHO SITS UPON THE THRONE?
1. A KING WHO LOVES UNCONDITIONALLY (v1-2)
- God is consumed with passionate love for you and me.
2. OUR SELFLESS RESCUER (v3-8, 13)
-A future rescue to come.
-A present rescue for us now.
-Our world doesn’t need something new to come along and save it. It needs something old.

3. A FATHER TO ALL NATIONS (v18-23)
-God turned our FASTS, into FESTIVALS, and then into a FIRE for the nations (Acts 2)
-The mission then was: THEY WILL COME (Zechariah 8 — “determined to come”)
-The mission now is: GO TO THEM (New Testament — commissioned to “go”)
